The work consists of two image-works and a sculpture. Seemingly, the sculpture has been constructed from the shapes cut out from the image works by the principles of paper-folding models. The pieces for the model have not been folded but merely stacked together so as to mime the intended object; a generic satellite.

An unrefined and skewed, though initially convincing, representation, the satellite as presented is a bastard-child of sorts of it's original intention which - through it's installation - suggests a reversed communication where the sculpture relays some kind of information back to it's origins.

Find it, Trap it, Study it, Understand it is a piece which discusses subjects such as knowledge, science and the collection and proliferation of these with playfulness and curiosity as points of departure. Through it's title, the work seeks to address a tactile and direct - though not elegant and delicate - approach towards the matters of discovery.

The misinterpretation of the rules, resulting in an object which is not right and not wrong enough, is perhaps the bottom line in this work.
