The seer is a sculpture made out of layered plywood, depicting a set of binoculars, as found on tourist sites and vantage points just about everywhere. As the binoculars are not fitted with optics, the details and enhanced information the viewer expects to find must rather be discovered in his own mind than through the instrument. Thus, the sculpture - and its title - becomes a spiritual device rather than one of cool reasoning.
